Cazenove Capital is delighted to announce its continued partnership with Blue Earth Summit. The platform brings together founders, change-makers, investors and like-minded individuals with a shared set of values, aiming to improve the world collectively.
The Summit consists of two days of thought-provoking keynotes, panel discussions and workshops, presented and led by some of the most influential voices in sustainability.
Our Sustainable Solutions Lead, Emilie Shaw, will sit on a panel discussion, talking to the importance of biodiversity and highlighting the nature risk in investment strategies. This year Cazenove Capital will also run an impact investing workshop, led by Lyn Tomlinson, Head of Impact Solutions, and Emily Petersen, Impact and Sustainability, at Cazenove Capital.
This will be the first year that Blue Earth Summit is held in London at Woolwich Works. Demand for the event has grown significantly over the past three years, necessitating the move to the more accessible city of London.
Linley Lewis, COO and Co-Founder, Blue Earth Summit, commented:
"We've seen unprecedented demand for this year's Summit. Woolwich Works will be able to facilitate the increased capacity and high standards that we want for our community, to establish Blue Earth on an international stage.
The move to London offers significantly greater connectivity and international access for attendees. We’re hoping that it will facilitate a stronger network, more innovation and ultimately a transformational impact for businesses, people and the planet."
Our support of Blue Earth Summit aligns with our commitment to sustainable and impact investment and understanding the influence that investments have on both people and planet. As stewards of our investors’ capital, we consider both the risks of climate change, and explore the opportunities that our rapidly changing world brings.
Cazenove Capital recently published its latest impact reports. They estimate that the collective underlying impact across our three flagship sustainable funds[1] reached an estimated 185,000 people, by providing vital services such as social housing, education, and financial inclusion. The funds avoided an estimated 348,000 tonnes of carbon by creating clean energy and water treatment.
Emilie Shaw, Sustainable Solutions Lead, Cazenove Capital, commented:
"We’re excited to be working with Blue Earth Summit again. The energy in the room last year was palpable, and we’re looking forward to being part of the community who are pushing for change."
Guy Hayler, CCO and Co-Founder, Blue Earth Summit, commented:
"We are very pleased to be welcoming Cazenove Capital back as a partner of Blue Earth Summit. They have been incredibly supportive over the past few years as we continue our rapid growth. They are a brilliant team who we really enjoy working with and have genuine intent to provide sustainable investment solutions for their clients."
