Cazenove Capital, the high-net-worth wealth management business of Schroders, is delighted to announce it has become a founding partner of Invest2Scale conference in Scotland.
The event focuses on connecting global investors with Scottish companies who are ready to scale up their operations. Cazenove Capital will be partnering with MBM Commercial, Eden Scott and CT Accountants Advisers to bring the event and initiative to life. The collective strength of the leading organisations positions Invest2Scale as a premier platform for Scottish companies seeking growth capital and the vital connections necessary to succeed in the global market.
2024 will be the third year the conference has been held, taking place on 23rd October at The Virgin Hotel in Edinburgh. The day will be filled with panel discussions and keynotes from founders, venture capital investors and entrepreneurs with the overarching aim of helping to bridge the funding gap in the scale-up market. Bob Hair, Regional Head of Scotland at Cazenove Capital will be chairing a panel discussion with Myles Stephenson from Modulr, providing firsthand experience of how to scale up a business.
The partnership between the leading companies demonstrates Cazenove Capital’s commitment to supporting Scotland's entrepreneurial ecosystem and the growth ambitions of companies in the region.
Bob Hair, Regional Head – Scotland, Cazenove Capital, commented:
“Cazenove Capital has long been supporters of the entrepreneurial eco-system in Scotland, having had a significant presence here for over 30 years. We specialise in working with Scotland’s entrepreneurs and business owners to preserve and grow their own wealth, many of whom seek to deploy their own capital, time and resources to help others also achieve success.
It is essential that we help to connect those seeking investment opportunities in high growth businesses with those seeking growth capital. Scotland has fantastic innovative start-ups, but we need to expand the investor base providing growth capital where it really matters. Invest2Scale seeks to help change that by bringing investors to Scotland and showcasing the opportunities to invest in scaling companies here – a land where the ideas are plentiful, the people are ingenious and ambitious, and where investors can find tremendous value.”
Susan Donald, Business Development Director, MBM Commercial, commented:
“We are delighted to have Cazenove Capital’s enhanced support of Invest2Scale, underscoring their dedication to fostering the growth and success of scale-up companies in Scotland.”
Ewan Anderson, Marketing Director, Eden Scott, commented:
"We are excited to welcome Bob and his team from Cazenove Capital. At Invest2Scale, we want to work with partners who share our passion for innovation and the drive that entrepreneurial ambition brings, and we know Cazenove Capital absolutely fit the bill.
Like Cazenove Captial, Eden Scott's commitment to Scotland's entrepreneurs has been unwavering, so joining forces through Invest2Scale will ensure our many scaling businesses have the investment and the talent they need to achieve their goals."
Stuart Millar, Marketing Manager, CT Accountant Advisers, commented:
"Invest2Scale's focus is on innovation, entrepreneurialism and investment, and Cazenove demonstrates those in spades. They make a natural founding partner for an event whose success is underscored by commitment to helping scaling businesses."
