Cazenove Capital marks its 200-year history with a celebration of emerging talent and creativity

In celebration of its 200 year anniversary, Cazenove Capital sponsors leading non-profit Fashion incubator, Fashion East in showcasing the works of five of London’s most exciting emerging designers at the Royal Opera House.

Caenove Capital 200 years

Fashion East, founded by MBE Lulu Kennedy, has launched some of the most successful designers in the industry, including names such as Jonathan Anderson and Simone Rocha. It is patroned by the Zeloof family, owners of the Truman brewery, as part of their philanthropic programme to platform emerging talent as they leave college or are setting up their own labels.

Mary-Anne Daly, Cazenove Capital Chief Executive, commented:

“Our celebration of 200 years of history is as much about the future as it is the past. We know that what sustains great families and businesses is the ability to anticipate change and to welcome and adapt to new ideas. Which is why I’m so grateful to our parent company, Schroders, and so proud of our younger team members who challenge us to think in this way, so that we can be by the side of our clients for the next 200 years. This is why we decided to sponsor Fashion East, to mark this special moment as a celebration of young artists and creativity, which London is so famous for.”

Lulu Kennedy, Fashion East Chief Executive, commented:

“Our designers were delighted with this opportunity to showcase their unique creations in the fantastic venue of the Royal Opera House. Donations from corporate organisations and philanthropists are vital for us to continue to nurture emerging creatives. We are hugely grateful to Cazenove Capital for their support and inspiration.”

Fashion East, is supported by a group of industry experts with long and illustrious careers, all of whom volunteer their expertise. They are typically fashion editors, buying directors, stylists as well as alumni who share their knowledge with the younger generation.  Fashion East will show at London Fashion Week this September.
