We have recently been made aware that individuals claiming to represent Schroders are currently promoting a fraudulent investment called the Schroders High Yield Fixed Rate Bond. This bond has no association with Schroders or any of its subsidiaries.
If you think you have been a victim of fraud or have received unsolicited contact using the Schroders name and have any concerns, then please get in touch with us right away.
Unfortunately scams and attempted frauds through social media, phone calls and emails claiming to be from a Schroders representative do sometimes occur. You may be contacted by people claiming to be from Schroders who will try to persuade you to invest with them.
Fraudsters are constantly developing their tactics and looking for new ways to steal your money through social engineering tactics. Resist the urge to act immediately no matter how dramatic the claim or urgent the situation. It is important to recognise a scam and understand how you can help protect yourself.
If you suspect you have been a victim of fraud, we advise you to report it immediately to your bank who may be able to assist you in stopping or recovering funds.
When you contact Schroders, we will investigate your suspicions and where possible take necessary steps to prevent others falling victim to the same scam.
We have offices in a number of locations globally. To discuss your wealth management requirements and the services available in your location, please contact us.
